Visiting the red kite centre? Here's some useful Information

The red kite feeding station is Open

FEEDING is at 3pm

The feeding times change as the kites don't know that the Clocks change twice a year.
On Sunday 30th March the Clocks went forward one hour so feeding is now at 3pm each day - watch out for October as the clocks then go forward and feeding will be at 2pm for the Winter.

We open at 1pm as it has been increasingly difficult to do the necessary work of the farm, and to have our meals at reasonable times!

Booking is only required if you are coming as a group or you are organising a coach party.

Admission to the farm:
Adults £4.00, O.A.P £3.00, Children £1.50 (4yrs and under Free)

Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead. During summer months they must not be left in
cars.
Car Alarms - If you must alarm the car please make sure all windows and skylights are closed as a breeze can often start them off!

The meat we feed to the kites is beef - anything up to 700Kg per week.
This is fit for human consumption and can actually be too high in lean meat for burgers!
