Gigrin Red Kite Centre Developments: 2006/2007.

• The hides have been equipped with wireless connectivity. This will soon facilitate
  communication with the farm, and the placement of controllable cameras.
  The resulting images sent from here will also be on the web site
  
  
• Users of our campsite now have wireless broadband access to the Internet.
  
  
• New facilities for photographers and filmmakers are now complete .
  
  
• The areas in and around the yard have been completely re-surfaced.
  
  
• The Red Kite Rehabilitation area is to be fitted with remotely controllable cameras.
  The images will be sent back both to the Interpretive Centre and to the web site -
  this will enable the monitoring of the kites without disturbance and give a truer
  picture of the physical health of the bird than is possible at present...
  
  
• Other facilities are under review.
