Photography Workshops
Red Kite Photography Workshop at Gigrin Farm, the world renowned Red Kite Feeding Centre based in Mid Wales.
Located in Rhayader, Mid Wales, we have been feeding Red Kites for over 30 years!
We generally get 300-600 kites a day…so plenty of opportunities for great photographs of birds in the air and on the ground. With less than 15 in the world, we might have a visit from a very rare White Red Kite too!
Spend the afternoon in our unique open top “Big Tower Hide”. This is our tallest hide and the closest you’ll get to these fantastic birds with them soaring just metres in front of you. It’s an incredible experience! During the winter months we will use the Gateway Hide which is a little more sheltered.
The workshops will be led by Paul Way, and you’ll receive help with camera settings and techniques to capture great photos.
Paul has over two decades of experience behind the lens and has dedicated his life to capturing the raw beauty of wildlife through photography.
Paul’s work has featured not only in the pages of local publications, but has also soared into national recognition and featured in outlets such as The Times and The Independent.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to capture the beauty of Red Kites through your lens, and join Paul for expert guidance and tuition.
